Activity: Project: Laser Cutting

Your mission for this project is to design and laser cut an artifact that contains 2 or more pieces. This artifact can be artistic or practical (or both!). The pieces need to be somehow attached to each other, whether that be with bots/screws, T-slots, glued, or friction (i.e., press fit). Each component of this artifact needs to be an original design. See this page for inspiration.

As you brainstorm your design and work your way through multiple versions and iterations, document the process in a notebook or digital file.

When you are finished with the CAD, cut and assemble your designs then take a picture and upload it below, along with your design document(s) in a single Word document.
