Activity: Project: Mechatronics

Your mission for this project is to design and create an object that integrates both a microcontroller and a physical object that you fabricate, either digitally or by hand. The microcontroller should make something happen (for example, turn on a motor, actuator, or LED) that involves the physical object. You do not have to write your own code for this project—if you find the appropriate code for the microcontroller online, feel free to use it.

As you brainstorm your design and work your way through multiple versions and iterations, document the process in your design notebook.

When you are finished with the object, demonstrate it for an instructor and show your instructor your design notebook. Take a photo or video of it working, and post it below.

Remember, you must be logged in to be able to submit your photo/video.
