Create a stop motion video. The video should have at least 50 pictures in it, and something recognizable must happen in the video–don’t make a video out of 50 pictures of Skittles moving randomly. Here’s a good example. Once you are satisfied with the video, save it as either an animated GIF or a video (.mp4 format) and upload it below.
- Remember the more photos you take the better your animation will look.
- A decorated background adds a layer to your animation video but a plain white paper will work just fine too.
- You can add a grid and onion skin feature on Stop Motion Studio that helps you move your figure in small increments. You can add your own voice if you want, but you don’t have to (adding prerecorded audio requires the Pro version of the app, but again, you don’t have to do that if you don’t want to).
Remember, you must be logged in to be able to submit your stop motion animation.
