The course is made up of modules. Each module is organized into one of five different categories: Digital Fabrication, Mechatronics, Multimedia Design, Practices & Pedagogies, and Weekly Assignments.
Some of these modules are required. You’ll choose which of the others to complete.
All modules are worth points. Your final grade in the course will be based in part on the number of points you earn by completing modules.
Each module is made up of lessons. Once you complete a lesson, you’ll click on the Mark Complete button and then move on to the next lesson.
At the end of each module is an activity. The activity is the way you demonstrate that you learned the content covered in the module. The activities include creating objects, writing reflections, or taking quizzes, depending on the content of the module. Once you complete the activity, then you are awarded however many points are associated with the module (and a certificate!).
This is a crosslisted course, which means some of you are undergraduates and some of you are master’s students. Different modules are required for each group. The master’s group has more required modules.
