Navigating This Website

This is a type of website called a Learning Management System (LMS). iCollege is the LMS that we usually use at GSU, but it doesn’t have the functionality I needed for this course. So, I built this website using WordPress, a web platform, and an LMS plug-in called LearnDash.

First and foremost, anytime you do anything on the LMS, you need to make sure you’re logged in. That way, you can get credit for finishing modules. I’ve added reminders at the beginning and on the culminating activity page of each module. You can also check to make sure you’re logged in by looking at the top right-hand corner of any page.

When you are working in a module (as you are right now), you can navigate back out into the main site by mousing over your profile picture in the top right and choosing one of the options there.

Finally, check out the left column of this screen. It is a list of all the lessons in whichever module you’re working on. The green checkmarks indicate lessons that you have completed. The empty circles represent lessons that you still need to complete. Remember, you cannot earn points for completing a module until you complete all of the lessons in that module.
