First, read Chapter 4 (p. 109-126) in Maker-Centered Learning.

Write a 2-4 paragraph reflection in which you describe your experience with the thinking routine activity which opened class this week. Consider addressing the following questions: What did you find interesting about this activity? What challenges did you or your group face during the activity? How were these challenges resolved? Did this activity encourage you to begin looking more closely at parts, purposes and complexities of everyday objects or systems? What did you learn through this activity and the thinking routine associated with it?
