Frist, read chapter 3 (p. 85-107) of the textbook, Maker-Centered Learning. In particular, notice the more in-depth discussion of agency. Also, note that chapter 3 introduces a number of important terms related to maker empowerment.
In class this week, we began to answer the question, “why go through all this trouble?” when considering infusing making into educational environments. In your own words, describe two or three reasons why it is or is not worth it. Your response should be 1-2 paragraphs long.
