Create a Scratch Program

Take a Scratch Challenge! Go to Challenge Galaxy and choose 1 challenge to try. When you have completed a challenge, copy the Public link to your project and upload it in the next lesson.

Getting Started

1. Go to Challenge Galaxy in one tab/window in your browser.
2. Skim through the list of challenges, and find one you want to try.
3. Open Scratch in another tab/window

Create a Scratch Program

1. Each challenge in Challenge Galaxy is broken up in a number of steps. To open a step, click the step name.
2. Using the images, try to make your own version. Try to make it your own!
3. If you get stuck, use the steps and clues in each challenge to help you program your own Scratch program.

Share Your Program

1. Find the orange Share button at the top of your screen and click it. Once you’ve done that, your project is available to anyone on the web with the link.
2. Copy the link. You’ll need to include it in the next step to complete this course.
